Before You Get Started

X Mind is a free service for users to create mind map diagrams. However, for creating a slide-based presentation you have to use the X Mind 8 Pro version. You have to pay a little amount for using the full features. The three central parts of presentations are topic, drawing, and execution. Here, your mind map is both the topic and drawing of the presentation. You only have to execute it right. So, follow this article to put your X Mind into presentation.

Putting X Mind into Presentation

  1. First, go to your browser and download X Mind 8 Pro.

  2. Then install it on your computer and log in to your X Mind account.
  3. Now write down the goal of your presentation. You can write your goals on top of the canvas in a box. You can also write in the format of an introduction.
  4. Define the Central Topic with a relevant title. For drawing boxes, hit Enter. Hit TAB to add subtopics. Now your first draft is complete.

  5. You may apply Notes and “New Sheet from Topic”.  Keeping your objective to the point.
  6. You can create a mind map presentation in XMind free version. However, it will not make exact slides.
  7. Only enlarge and decrease the topic. Before giving the presentation, click on “Fold Subtopic” to close all the subtopics. Then, stretch the branch gradually during the presentation.

  8. You can create slides in two ways in X Mind 8. The first is “Slide Based Mode”. Choose the area you want to incorporate in each slide. Then create slides inside X Mind.
